1 Samuel 30:7-9

7 David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech, “Please bring the ephod here to me.”
Abiathar brought the ephod to David. 8 David inquired of Yahweh, saying, “If I pursue after this troop, will I overtake them?”
He answered him, “Pursue; for you will surely overtake them, and will without fail recover all.”
9 So David went, he and the six hundred men who were with him, and came to the brook Besor, where those who were left behind stayed.

7 Then David said to Abiathar(A) the priest, the son of Ahimelek, “Bring me the ephod.(B)” Abiathar brought it to him, 8 and David inquired(C) of the Lord, “Shall I pursue this raiding party? Will I overtake them?”
“Pursue them,” he answered. “You will certainly overtake them and succeed(D) in the rescue.(E)”
9 David and the six hundred men(F) with him came to the Besor Valley, where some stayed behind.
