8 The attendant answered Saul: “Here, I have a piece[a] of silver. I’ll give it to the man of God, and he will tell us our way.”
9 Formerly in Israel, a man who was going to inquire of God would say, “Come, let’s go to the seer,” for the prophet of today was formerly called the seer.(A)
10 “Good,” Saul replied to his attendant. “Come on, let’s go.” So they went to the city where the man of God was.

I will give it to the man of God so that he will tell us what way to take.” 9 (Formerly in Israel, if someone went to inquire(A) of God, they would say, “Come, let us go to the seer,” because the prophet of today used to be called a seer.)(B)
10 “Good,” Saul said to his servant. “Come, let’s go.” So they set out for the town where the man of God was.
