19 armed with faith and a good conscience. Some have tried to silence their consciences, wrecking their lives and ruining their faiths. 20 Hymenaeus and Alexander are among these; I have had to hand them over to Satan so they might learn not to speak against God.

19 holding on to faith and a good conscience,(A) which some have rejected and so have suffered shipwreck with regard to the faith.(B) 20 Among them are Hymenaeus(C) and Alexander,(D) whom I have handed over to Satan(E) to be taught not to blaspheme.
