5 whereas the aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith. 6 Certain persons by swerving from these have wandered away into vain discussion, 7 desiring to be teachers of the law, without understanding either what they are saying or the things about which they make assertions.

5 The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart(A) and a good conscience(B) and a sincere faith.(C) 6 Some have departed from these and have turned to meaningless talk. 7 They want to be teachers(D) of the law, but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm.(E)
