6 who gave himself as a payment to set all people free. This was a testimony that was given at the right time. 7 I was appointed to be a preacher and apostle of this testimony—I’m telling the truth and I’m not lying! I’m a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
Instructions for men and women
8 Therefore, I want men to pray everywhere by lifting up hands that are holy, without anger or argument.

6 who gave himself as a ransom(A) for all people. This has now been witnessed to(B) at the proper time.(C) 7 And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I am telling the truth, I am not lying(D)—and a true and faithful teacher(E) of the Gentiles.(F)
8 Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands(G) without anger or disputing.
