10 (A)These men must also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons if they are beyond reproach. 11 [a]Women must likewise be dignified, (B)not malicious gossips, but (C)temperate, faithful in all things. 12 (D)Deacons must be (E)husbands of only one wife, and [b](F)good managers of their children and their own households.

10 They must first be tested;(A) and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons.
11 In the same way, the women[a] are to be worthy of respect, not malicious talkers(B) but temperate(C) and trustworthy in everything.
12 A deacon must be faithful to his wife(D) and must manage his children and his household well.(E)
