And he must (A)have a good reputation with (B)those outside the church, so that he will not fall into reproach and (C)the snare of the devil.

(D)Deacons likewise must be men of dignity, not [a]double-tongued, [b](E)or addicted to much wine [c](F)or fond of sordid gain, (G)but holding to the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience.
