3 They forbid people to marry and tell them not to eat certain foods which God created to be ·eaten [received] with thanks by people who believe and know the truth. 4 [L For] Everything God created is good, and nothing should be ·refused [rejected] if it is accepted with thanks, 5 because it is ·made holy [sanctified] by ·what God has said [the word/pronouncement of God] and by prayer.

3 They forbid people to marry(A) and order them to abstain from certain foods,(B) which God created(C) to be received with thanksgiving(D) by those who believe and who know the truth. 4 For everything God created is good,(E) and nothing is to be rejected(F) if it is received with thanksgiving, 5 because it is consecrated by the word of God(G) and prayer.
