Slaves Are To Honor Their Masters

Let all-who are under a yoke as slaves be regarding their own masters as worthy of all honor, in order that the name of God and the teaching may not be blasphemed[a]. And let the ones having believing masters not be disregarding them because they are brothers, but let them be serving them more[b], because the ones being helped[c] by the good-work are believers and beloved ones.

Anyone Who Teaches Differently Is Spiritually Diseased And Pursuing Personal Gain

All who are under the yoke of slavery should consider their masters worthy of full respect,(A) so that God’s name and our teaching may not be slandered.(B) Those who have believing masters should not show them disrespect just because they are fellow believers.(C) Instead, they should serve them even better because their masters are dear to them as fellow believers and are devoted to the welfare[a] of their slaves.
