1 Timothy 6:8-10

8 but having food and raiment -- with these we shall suffice ourselves;
9 and those wishing to be rich, do fall into temptation and a snare, and many desires, foolish and hurtful, that sink men into ruin and destruction,
10 for a root of all the evils is the love of money, which certain longing for did go astray from the faith, and themselves did pierce through with many sorrows;

8 But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.(A) 9 Those who want to get rich(B) fall into temptation and a trap(C) and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money(D) is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith(E) and pierced themselves with many griefs.(F)
