²⁵ In the fifth year of King Rehoboam, Shishak king of Egypt attacked^(A) Jerusalem.

²⁶ He carried off the treasures of the temple^(A) of the Lord and the treasures of the royal palace. He took everything, including all the gold shields^(B) Solomon had made.

¹⁵ King Solomon made two hundred large shields of hammered gold; six hundred shekels^[a] of hammered gold went into each shield.

¹⁶ He also made three hundred small shields^(A) of hammered gold, with three hundred shekels^[a] of gold in each shield. The king put them in the Palace of the Forest of Lebanon.^(B)
