⁴⁵ But the people said to Saul, “Shall Jonathan die, who has accomplished this great deliverance in Israel? Certainly not! ^(A)As the Lord lives, not one hair of his head shall fall to the ground, for he has worked ^(B)with God this day.” So the people rescued Jonathan, and he did not die.

⁵² Then Solomon said, “If he proves himself a worthy man, ^(A)not one hair of him shall fall to the earth; but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die.”

^30 (A)But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

³⁴ Therefore I urge you to take nourishment, for this is for your survival, ^(A)since not a hair will fall from the head of any of you.”
