26 When David came to Ziklag, he sent some of the plunder to his friends, the elders of Judah, saying, “Here is a gift for you(A) from the plunder of the Lord’s enemies.”(B) 27 He sent gifts[a] to those in Bethel,(C) in Ramoth of the Negev,(D) and in Jattir;(E) 28 to those in Aroer,(F) in Siphmoth,(G) and in Eshtemoa;(H) 29 to those in Racal, in the towns of the Jerahmeelites,(I) and in the towns of the Kenites;(J) 30 to those in Hormah,(K) in Bor-ashan,(L) and in Athach; 31 to those in Hebron,(M) and to those in all the places where David and his men had roamed.(N)
