26 ¶ Then the King said unto Abiathar the Priest, Go to Anathoth unto thine own [a]fields: for thou art [b]worthy of death: but I will not this day kill thee, because thou [c]barest the Ark of the Lord God before David my father, and because thou hast suffered in all, wherein my father hath been afflicted.

26 To Abiathar(A) the priest the king said, “Go back to your fields in Anathoth.(B) You deserve to die, but I will not put you to death now, because you carried the ark(C) of the Sovereign Lord before my father David and shared all my father’s hardships.”(D)
