2 Chronicles 14:5-7
1599 Geneva Bible
5 And he took away out of all the cities of Judah the high places, and the images: therefore the Kingdom was [a]quiet before him.
6 He built also strong cities in Judah, because the land was in rest, and he had no war in those years: for the Lord had given him rest.
7 Therefore he said to Judah, Let us build these cities, and make walls about, and towers, gates, and bars, while the land is [b]before us: because we have sought the Lord our God, we have sought him, and he hath given us rest on every side: so they built and prospered.

5 He removed the high places(A) and incense altars(B) in every town in Judah, and the kingdom was at peace under him. 6 He built up the fortified cities of Judah, since the land was at peace. No one was at war with him during those years, for the Lord gave him rest.(C)
7 “Let us build up these towns,” he said to Judah, “and put walls around them, with towers, gates and bars. The land is still ours, because we have sought the Lord our God; we sought him and he has given us rest(D) on every side.” So they built and prospered.
