11 On that day they sacrificed to the Lord a part of the loot they had brought with them: 700 cattle and 7,000 sheep. 12 They made an agreement with one another to dedicate their lives to serving the Lord God of their ancestors with all their heart and soul. 13 All people (young or old, male or female) who refused to dedicate their lives to the Lord God of Israel were to be killed.

11 At that time they sacrificed to the Lord seven hundred head of cattle and seven thousand sheep and goats from the plunder(A) they had brought back. 12 They entered into a covenant(B) to seek the Lord,(C) the God of their ancestors, with all their heart and soul. 13 All who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, were to be put to death,(D) whether small or great, man or woman.
