¹⁰ Then Asa was vexed with the seer and put him in ^[a]prison, for he was enraged at him for this. And Asa oppressed some of the people at the same time.

²¹ So ^(A)they conspired against him and at the command of the king they stoned him ^[a]to death in the court of the house of Yahweh.

²⁶ And the king commanded Jerahmeel the king’s son, Seraiah the son of Azriel, and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel to ^(A)take Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet, but ^(B)Yahweh hid them.

⁵ And although Herod wanted to put him to death, he feared the crowd, because they were regarding ^[a]John as ^(A)a prophet.
