¹⁵ They assembled their brothers, ^(A)consecrated themselves, and went in ^(B)to cleanse the house of the Lord, according to the commandment of the king ^(C)by the words of the Lord.

³⁴ But the priests were too few, so that they were unable to skin all the burnt offerings; ^(A)therefore their brothers the Levites helped them until the work was finished and the other priests had consecrated themselves. For ^(B)the Levites were more ^[a]conscientious to consecrate themselves than the priests.

⁶ Now ^(A)slaughter the Passover animals, ^(B)keep one another consecrated, and prepare for your countrymen to act in accordance with the word of the Lord by Moses.”
