⁵ And he resolutely set to work and ^(A)rebuilt all of the wall that had been broken down and ^[a]erected towers on it, and built ^(B)another outside wall and strengthened the ^[b](C)Millo in the city of David, and made weapons and shields in great numbers.

³ And they said to me, “The remnant there in the ^(A)province who survived the captivity are in great distress and ^(B)disgrace, and ^(C)the wall of Jerusalem is broken down and ^(D)its gates have been burned with fire.”
