22 But he did evil in the sight of the Lord, as his father Manasseh had done; for Amon sacrificed to all the carved images which his father Manasseh had made, and served them. 23 And he did not humble himself before the Lord, (A)as his father Manasseh had humbled himself; but Amon trespassed more and more.
24 (B)Then his servants conspired against him, and (C)killed him in his own house.

22 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, as his father Manasseh had done. Amon worshiped and offered sacrifices to all the idols Manasseh had made. 23 But unlike his father Manasseh, he did not humble(A) himself before the Lord; Amon increased his guilt.
24 Amon’s officials conspired against him and assassinated him in his palace.
