22 He did what Yahweh considered evil, as his father Manasseh had done. Amon sacrificed to all the idols his father Manasseh had made, and he worshiped them. 23 He didn’t humble himself in front of Yahweh as his father Manasseh had humbled himself. Instead, Amon continued to sin.
24 His officials plotted against him and killed him in his palace.

22 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, as his father Manasseh had done. Amon worshiped and offered sacrifices to all the idols Manasseh had made. 23 But unlike his father Manasseh, he did not humble(A) himself before the Lord; Amon increased his guilt.
24 Amon’s officials conspired against him and assassinated him in his palace.
