Zedekiah King of Judah^(A)

¹¹ Zedekiah^(B) was twenty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eleven years.

¹² He did evil in the eyes of the Lord^(A) his God and did not humble^(B) himself before Jeremiah the prophet, who spoke the word of the Lord.

22 This is what the Lord says: “Go down to the palace of the king^(A) of Judah and proclaim this message there:

² ‘Hear^(A) the word of the Lord to you, king of Judah, you who sit on David’s throne^(B)—you, your officials and your people who come through these gates.^(C)
