3 Then the king of Egypt deposed him in Jerusalem and (A)laid on the land a tribute of a hundred talents of silver and a talent[a] of gold. 4 And the king of Egypt made Eliakim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem, and changed his name to Jehoiakim. But Neco took Jehoahaz his brother and carried him to Egypt.
5 (B)Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned for eleven years in Jerusalem. He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord his God.

3 The king of Egypt dethroned him in Jerusalem and imposed on Judah a levy of a hundred talents[a] of silver and a talent[b] of gold. 4 The king of Egypt made Eliakim, a brother of Jehoahaz, king over Judah and Jerusalem and changed Eliakim’s name to Jehoiakim. But Necho(A) took Eliakim’s brother Jehoahaz and carried him off to Egypt.(B)
