13 The trumpeters and the singers joined in unison to offer praise and thanksgiving to the Lord, and when the volume was raised, with trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise of the Lord:

“For he is good,
    for his steadfast love endures forever,”[a]

the temple was filled with the cloud of the glory of the Lord, 14 and as a result of the cloud the priests could not continue to minister, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God.

13 The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang:

“He is good;
    his love endures forever.”(A)

Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud,(B) 14 and the priests could not perform(C) their service because of the cloud,(D) for the glory(E) of the Lord filled the temple of God.
