New International Reader's Version
13 The trumpet players and other musicians played their instruments together. They praised the Lord and gave thanks to him. The singers sang to the music of the trumpets, cymbals and other instruments. They sang in praise to the Lord,
“The Lord is good.
His faithful love continues forever.”
Then a cloud filled the temple of the Lord. 14 The priests couldn’t do their work. That’s because the cloud of the Lord’s glory filled God’s temple.

13 The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang:
“He is good;
his love endures forever.”(A)
Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud,(B) 14 and the priests could not perform(C) their service because of the cloud,(D) for the glory(E) of the Lord filled the temple of God.
