14 For we are not overextending ourselves, as if we had not reached you, since we have come to you with the gospel of Christ. 15 We are not bragging beyond measure about other people’s labors. But we have the hope(A) that as your faith increases, our area of ministry will be greatly enlarged, 16 so that we may proclaim the good news to the regions beyond you,(B) not boasting about what has already been done in someone else’s area of ministry.(C)

14 We are not going too far in our boasting, as would be the case if we had not come to you, for we did get as far as you(A) with the gospel of Christ.(B) 15 Neither do we go beyond our limits(C) by boasting of work done by others.(D) Our hope is that, as your faith continues to grow,(E) our sphere of activity among you will greatly expand, 16 so that we can preach the gospel(F) in the regions beyond you.(G) For we do not want to boast about work already done in someone else’s territory.
