15 not boasting (A)beyond our measure in (B)other men’s labors, but having the hope—that as (C)your faith grows—to be (D)enlarged even more by you [a]within our area of influence, 16 so as to (E)proclaim the gospel even to (F)the regions beyond you, and not to boast [b](G)in what has been accomplished in the area of influence of another. 17 But (H)he who boasts is to boast in the Lord.

15 Neither do we go beyond our limits(A) by boasting of work done by others.(B) Our hope is that, as your faith continues to grow,(C) our sphere of activity among you will greatly expand, 16 so that we can preach the gospel(D) in the regions beyond you.(E) For we do not want to boast about work already done in someone else’s territory. 17 But, “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”[a](F)
