15 We do not boast beyond limits, that is, in the labours of others; but our hope is that, as your faith increases, our sphere of action among you may be greatly enlarged, 16 so that we may proclaim the good news[a] in lands beyond you, without boasting of work already done in someone else’s sphere of action. 17 ‘Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.’

15 Neither do we go beyond our limits(A) by boasting of work done by others.(B) Our hope is that, as your faith continues to grow,(C) our sphere of activity among you will greatly expand, 16 so that we can preach the gospel(D) in the regions beyond you.(E) For we do not want to boast about work already done in someone else’s territory. 17 But, “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”[a](F)
