4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not [a]carnal, but mighty through [b]God, to cast down holds.)
5 Casting down the imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, [c]and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ,
6 And having ready the vengeance against all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

4 The weapons we fight with(A) are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power(B) to demolish strongholds.(C) 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God,(D) and we take captive every thought to make it obedient(E) to Christ. 6 And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.(F)
