15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ (A)among those who are being saved and (B)among those who are perishing. 16 (C)To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And (D)who is sufficient for these things? 17 For we are not, as [a]so many, (E)peddling[b] the word of God; but as (F)of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.

15 For we are to God the pleasing aroma(A) of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.(B) 16 To the one we are an aroma that brings death;(C) to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task?(D) 17 Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit.(E) On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity,(F) as those sent from God.(G)
