2 Corinthians 2:9-11
American Standard Version
9 For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, [a]whether ye are obedient in all things. 10 But to whom ye forgive anything, I forgive also: for what I also have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, for your sakes have I forgiven it in the [b]presence of Christ; 11 that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

New International Version
9 Another reason I wrote you(A) was to see if you would stand the test and be obedient in everything.(B) 10 Anyone you forgive, I also forgive. And what I have forgiven—if there was anything to forgive—I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, 11 in order that Satan(C) might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.(D)
