2 Corinthians 5:10-12
Disciples’ Literal New Testament
10 For we all must appear[a] before the judgment-seat of Christ in order that each one might receive-back[b] the things done in[c] the body, in-accordance-with the things which he practiced, whether good or bad. 11 Therefore knowing the fear[d] of the Lord, we are persuading[e] people.
Now Our Heart Has Been Made Known To God, And I Hope To You. Boast In Us
Now[f] we have been made known to God. And I hope that we also have been made known in your consciences. 12 We are not again commending ourselves to you, but are giving you an opportunity for a boast about us, in order that you may have an answer for the ones boasting in appearance and not in heart.

The Ministry of Reconciliation
11 Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord,(B) we try to persuade others. What we are is plain to God, and I hope it is also plain to your conscience.(C) 12 We are not trying to commend ourselves to you again,(D) but are giving you an opportunity to take pride in us,(E) so that you can answer those who take pride in what is seen rather than in what is in the heart.
