¹⁸ For I am full of words;
    the spirit within me constrains me.

¹¹ Therefore I am full of the wrath of the Lord;

^(B)“Pour it out upon the children in the street,
    and upon the gatherings of young men, also;
^(C)both husband and wife ^(D)shall be taken,
    the elderly and the very aged.

⁹ If I say, “I will not mention him,
    or speak any more in his name,”
^(A)there is in my heart as it were a burning fire
    shut up in my bones,
and ^(B)I am weary with holding it in,
    and I cannot.

⁸ The lion has roared;
    who will not fear?
^(A)The Lord God has spoken;
    who can but prophesy?”
