2 For therefore we sigh, desiring to be [a]clothed with our house, which is from [b]heaven.
3 [c]Because that if we be clothed, we shall not be found (A)naked.
4 For indeed we that are in this tabernacle, sigh and are burdened because we would not be unclothed, but would be clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

2 Meanwhile we groan,(A) longing to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling,(B) 3 because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. 4 For while we are in this tent, we groan(C) and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling,(D) so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.
