6 So, as we work together with God, we appeal to you in particular: when you accept God’s grace, don’t let it go to waste! ²This is what he says:

I listened to you when the time was right,
I came to your aid on the day of salvation.

Look! The right time is now! Look! The day of salvation is here!

³We put no obstacles in anybody’s way, so that nobody will say abusive things about our ministry.

2 Corinthians 6:1-3

6 As God’s co-workers^(A) we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.^(B) ²For he says,

“In the time of my favor I heard you,
and in the day of salvation I helped you.”^[a]^(C)

I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

³We put no stumbling block in anyone’s path,^(D) so that our ministry will not be discredited.
