4 They begged and pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service for God’s people. 5 Also, they didn’t do this in the way we had expected, but first they gave themselves to the Lord, which means, by God’s will, to us.
6 All this has led us to urge Titus to bring this same gracious gift to completion among you, since he has already made a beginning of it.

4 they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing(A) in this service(B) to the Lord’s people.(C) 5 And they exceeded our expectations: They gave themselves first of all to the Lord, and then by the will of God also to us. 6 So we urged(D) Titus,(E) just as he had earlier made a beginning, to bring also to completion(F) this act of grace on your part.
