2 Corinthians 8:4-6

4 begging us with great earnestness for the blessing and fellowship of helping[a] the saints. 5 And they did this not just as we had hoped, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and to us by the will of God. 6 Thus[b] we urged[c] Titus that, just as he had previously begun this work,[d] so also he should complete this act of kindness[e] for you.

4 they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing(A) in this service(B) to the Lord’s people.(C) 5 And they exceeded our expectations: They gave themselves first of all to the Lord, and then by the will of God also to us. 6 So we urged(D) Titus,(E) just as he had earlier made a beginning, to bring also to completion(F) this act of grace on your part.
