2 Joash did what Yahweh considered right, as long as the priest Jehoiada instructed him. 3 But the illegal places of worship weren’t torn down. The people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense at these worship sites.
4 Joash told the priests, “Collect all the holy contributions that are brought into Yahweh’s temple—the money each person is currently required to bring and all the money brought voluntarily to Yahweh’s temple.

2 Joash did what was right(A) in the eyes of the Lord all the years Jehoiada the priest instructed him. 3 The high places,(B) however, were not removed; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense there.
4 Joash said to the priests, “Collect(C) all the money that is brought as sacred offerings(D) to the temple of the Lord—the money collected in the census,(E) the money received from personal vows and the money brought voluntarily(F) to the temple.
