2 And Jeho′ash did what was right in the eyes of the Lord all his days, because Jehoi′ada the priest instructed him. 3 Nevertheless the high places were not taken away; the people continued to sacrifice and burn incense on the high places.

2 Joash did what was right(A) in the eyes of the Lord all the years Jehoiada the priest instructed him. 3 The high places,(B) however, were not removed; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense there.
4 Joash said to the priests, “Collect(C) all the money that is brought as sacred offerings(D) to the temple of the Lord—the money collected in the census,(E) the money received from personal vows and the money brought voluntarily(F) to the temple.
