24 He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, and he did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, who caused Israel to sin.
25 He restored the boundaries of Israel from the entrance of Lebo-hamath to the Sea of Arabah. This fulfilled the word of the Lord, the God of Israel, that had been proclaimed by his servant Jonah, the son of Amittai, the prophet from Gath-hepher.[a]
26 The Lord saw how terribly everyone in Israel was suffering, whether they were slave or free, for there was no one to help them in Israel.

24 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord and did not turn away from any of the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit.(A) 25 He was the one who restored the boundaries of Israel from Lebo Hamath(B) to the Dead Sea,[a](C) in accordance with the word of the Lord, the God of Israel, spoken through his servant Jonah(D) son of Amittai, the prophet from Gath Hepher.
26 The Lord had seen how bitterly everyone in Israel, whether slave or free,(E) was suffering;[b](F) there was no one to help them.(G)
