4 though the high places did not disappear, and the people continued to sacrifice and to burn incense on the high places. 5 The Lord afflicted the king, and he was a leper until the day he died. He lived in a house apart, while Jotham, the king’s son, was master of the palace and ruled the people of the land.[a]
6 The rest of the acts of Azariah, and all that he did, are recorded in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah.

New International Version
4 The high places, however, were not removed; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense there.
5 The Lord afflicted(A) the king with leprosy[a] until the day he died, and he lived in a separate house.[b](B) Jotham(C) the king’s son had charge of the palace(D) and governed the people of the land.
6 As for the other events of Azariah’s reign, and all he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah?
