⁶ For he ^(A)held fast to the Lord; he did not depart from following Him, but kept His commandments, which the Lord had commanded Moses.

⁷ “But if you say to me, ‘We trust in the Lord our God,’ is it not He whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has taken away, and said to Judah and Jerusalem, ‘You shall worship before this altar’?” ’

³ and said, ^(A)“Remember now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a ^[a]loyal heart, and have done what is good in Your ^(B)sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
