Hezekiah’s Prayer
14 Then (A)Hezekiah took the [a]letter from the hand of the messengers and read it, and he went up to the house of the Lord and [b]spread it out before the Lord. 15 Hezekiah prayed before the Lord and said, “Lord, God of Israel, [c](B)enthroned above the cherubim, (C)You are the God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth. 16 (D)Incline Your ear, Lord, and hear; (E)open Your eyes, Lord, and see; and listen to the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent (F)to taunt the living God.

14 Hezekiah received the letter(B) from the messengers and read it. Then he went up to the temple of the Lord and spread it out before the Lord. 15 And Hezekiah prayed to the Lord: “Lord, the God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim,(C) you alone(D) are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth. 16 Give ear,(E) Lord, and hear;(F) open your eyes,(G) Lord, and see; listen to the words Sennacherib has sent to ridicule the living God.
