¹⁷It is true, Lord; the kings of Assyria have laid waste the nations and their lands,

¹⁷“It is true, Lord, that the Assyrian kings have laid waste these nations and their lands.

³¹For out of Jerusalem will go a remnant, and survivors ^(A)out of Mount Zion. ^(B)The zeal of ^[a]the Lord will perform this.

³¹For out of Jerusalem will come a remnant,^(A)
and out of Mount Zion a band of survivors.^(B)
