2 Kings 19:33-35
New International Reader's Version
33 By the same way he came he will go home.
He will not enter this city,’
announces the Lord.
34 ‘I will guard this city and save it.
I will do it for myself. And I will do it for my servant David.’ ”
35 That night the angel of the Lord went into the camp of the Assyrians. He put to death 185,000 people there. The people of Jerusalem got up the next morning and looked out at the camp. There were all the dead bodies!

33 By the way that he came he will return;(A)
he will not enter this city,
declares the Lord.
34 I will defend(B) this city and save it,
for my sake and for the sake of David(C) my servant.’”
35 That night the angel of the Lord(D) went out and put to death a hundred and eighty-five thousand in the Assyrian camp. When the people got up the next morning—there were all the dead bodies!(E)
