The Assyrian Army Is Destroyed

35 That night the angel of the Lord went out and killed 185,000 people in the Assyrian camp. When the others got up in the morning, they saw all the dead bodies.

36 So King Sennacherib of Assyria left and went back to Nineveh where he stayed.

When the people got up the next morning—there were all the dead bodies!(D) 36 So Sennacherib king of Assyria broke camp and withdrew.(E) He returned to Nineveh(F) and stayed there.
