2 Kings 2:4-6

4 Elijah said to him, “Elisha, please stay here because Yahweh has sent me to Jericho.” And he said, “As Yahweh lives[a] and as your soul lives,[b] I will certainly not leave you!” So they came to Jericho. 5 Then the sons of the prophets who were in Jericho came near to Elisha, and they said to him, “Do you know that Yahweh is going to take your master from you[c] today?” He said, “I also know; be quiet!”
6 Then Elijah said to him, “Please stay here, because Yahweh has sent me to the Jordan.” He said, “As Yahweh lives[d] and as your soul lives,[e] I will certainly not leave you!” So the two of them went on.

New International Version
4 Then Elijah said to him, “Stay here, Elisha; the Lord has sent me to Jericho.(A)”
And he replied, “As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went to Jericho.
5 The company(B) of the prophets at Jericho went up to Elisha and asked him, “Do you know that the Lord is going to take your master from you today?”
“Yes, I know,” he replied, “so be quiet.”
6 Then Elijah said to him, “Stay here;(C) the Lord has sent me to the Jordan.”(D)
And he replied, “As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.”(E) So the two of them walked on.
