5 The rest of the events of Jehoiakim’s reign, along with all his accomplishments, are written in the Historical Record of Judah’s Kings.(A) 6 Jehoiakim rested with his ancestors, and his son Jehoiachin became king in his place.(B)
7 Now the king of Egypt did not march out of his land again,(C) for the king of Babylon took everything that had belonged to the king of Egypt,(D) from the Brook of Egypt to the Euphrates River.(E)

New International Version
5 As for the other events of Jehoiakim’s reign,(A) and all he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah? 6 Jehoiakim rested(B) with his ancestors. And Jehoiachin(C) his son succeeded him as king.
7 The king of Egypt(D) did not march out from his own country again, because the king of Babylon(E) had taken all his territory, from the Wadi of Egypt to the Euphrates River.
