2 And he wrought evil in the sight of the Lord, but not like his father nor like his mother: for he took away the image of Baal that his father had made.
3 Nevertheless, he cleaved unto the [a]sins of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin, and departed not therefrom.
4 ¶ Then [b]Mesha king of Moab had store of sheep, and rendered unto the king of Israel an hundred thousand rams with the wool.

New International Version
2 He did evil(A) in the eyes of the Lord, but not as his father(B) and mother had done. He got rid of the sacred stone(C) of Baal that his father had made. 3 Nevertheless he clung to the sins(D) of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit; he did not turn away from them.
4 Now Mesha king of Moab(E) raised sheep, and he had to pay the king of Israel a tribute of a hundred thousand lambs(F) and the wool of a hundred thousand rams.
