The Interpretation of the Vision

¹⁵ When I, Daniel, had seen the vision, I ^(A)sought to understand it. And behold, there stood before me one having ^(B)the appearance of a man.

^17 (A)For truly, I say to you, ^(B)many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.

²⁴ For I tell you ^(A)that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.”
